Not incorrect, people on Whirlpool are reporting they are getting the Oreo update on Optus, Vodafone and XSA firmware. For those who don't have it showing up OTA they are able to get it by plugging their phones into a PC and running Smart Switch to find the update. Still no word from Telstra.
I purchased a new Samsung S9+ in Norway after my old phone was stolen. On return to Oz, i do not have the option for WiFi calling or turning on VoLTE - these options are not available on the phone - anywhere, even though these options are available in Norway.

Unfortunately I did not think about them when I was there to have them switched on. The phone is unlocked, dual SIM version and apparently is both a Nordic country and Ireland specific phone. (I've learned a bit about different country versions since returning home!).The options for WiFi calling (and VoLTE) should be available on this phone. Confusing infor the the net suggests that an OTA (over the air) configuration update may be possible, or at worst, a different firmware download!Has anyone 'suffered' this same problem and how was it addressed.
I phoned Telstra support and they were not aware of any OTA fix, or in fact had not heard of any such issue, insisting that the options must be available on the phone.Any ideas welcomed!
